Abstract A precise knowledge of the elements |𝑉𝑐𝑏| and |𝑉𝑒𝑏| of the CKM matrix is important to constraint the Standard Model of particle physics and predict the rate of ultra-rare 𝐡 meson decays such as π΅β†’πœ‡πœˆ or π΅β†’πΎπœˆπœˆΒ―. In this talk I will review the experimental status of these fundamental parameters with a focus on the latest developments and new results from the Belle and Belle II experiments.
