Recent time-dependent measurements of CP violation at Belle IIPublic
Time-dependent measurements of CP violation are chief goals of the Belle II physics program. Comparison between penguin-dominated b->qqbars and tree-dominated b->ccbars results allows for stringent tests of CKM unitarity that are sensitive to non-SM physics. This talk presents recent Belle II results on B0->Kspi0, B0->KsKsKs, and B0->phiKs decays.

Belle II track finding and hit filtering using precise timing informationPublic
The SuperKEKB accelerator and the Belle II experiment constitute the second-generation asymmetric energy B-factory. SuperKEKB has recently set a new world record in instantaneous luminosity, which is anticipated to further increase during the upcoming run periods up to . An increase in luminosity is challenging for the track finding as it comes at…

Recent results from the Belle and Belle II experimentsPublic
The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy electron-positron collider has been collecting the world’s highest-intensity collisions at the (4S) since 2019. A data set comparable in size to that of predecessor experiments, Belle, and collected with the new detector, enables unique or world-leading results. Examples include indirect s…

Recent results on charmed baryons from BellePublic
Charmed baryon spectroscopy can provide unique insights into QCD at low energies. The large data sample accumulated by the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric energy e^{+}e^{-} collider enables new opportunities to study charmed baryons. We present recent measurements of charmed baryons at Belle, including studies of Omega_c -> Xi pi, Xi K and…

Hadron Spectroscopy at Belle and Belle IIPublic
Belle II, which commenced data acquisition in 2019, has already yielded research results in hadron spectroscopy. The $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data, taken at or near the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance, are well-suited for studying hadrons with a high-performance detector system. In this presentation, we will show the latest research outcomes in hadron spec…

Recent Belle II results on the CKM parameters |V_cb| and |V_ub|Public
Semileptonic B-meson decays allow for determining the magnitudes of the CKM matrix parameters Vcb and Vub, two fundamental parameters of the SM flavor sector. Belle II analyses use both exclusive decays such asB->D*lnu and B->pilnu, or inclusive X_clnu or X_ulnu final states restricted in phase space. The low-background collision environment, alon…

Measurements of $R(D^{(*)}$ and other missing energy decays modes at Belle IIPublic
The Belle II experiment is a substantial upgrade of the Belle detector and will operate at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric e+e− collider. The accelerator has already successfully completed the first phase of commissioning in 2016 and first electron positron collisions in Belle II are expected for April 2018. The design luminosity of SuperKEKB is 8…

The Silicon Vertex Detector of the Belle II ExperimentPublic
In June 2022 the data taking of the Belle II experiment was stopped for the Long Shutdown 1 (LS1), which is primarily required to install a new two-layer DEPFET detector (PXD) and upgrade components of the accelerator. The whole silicon tracker (VXD) will be extracted from Belle II, then the outer four-layer doublesided strip detector (SVD) is spl…

A model-independent likelihood function for the Belle II B+ -> K+νν analysisPublic
Rare decays like B+ -> K+νν, searched for by the Belle II collaboration, are important in particle physics research as they offer a window into physics beyond the Standard Model. However, the experimental challenges induced by the two final state neutrinos require assumptions on the kinematic distribution of this decay. Consequently, the results …
